This site is under construction. dont go away. ill add a bunch of shenanigans soon:tm: i got stories to publish, dev stuff to log. maybe ill publish part of my obsidian docs, idk. also dont mind the minimal design. i know its not really part of the neocities culture but if a site is meant to reflect its users, minimalism is simply my style. and also catppuccin. ofc catppuccin.

Whooosh

That was the last sound I heard before I started having a rather odd feeling of gaining speed. At that sudden unknown momentum I gained I tightly closed my eyes. It was the feeling of being carried by a strong endless current. I braced myself for the moment I feel any impact or collision because I had a feeling that this won't end very well…

The moment never came.

And rather, instead of moving at fast speeds I remained stationary. The surroundings felt odd and because of that struggled to open my eyes. So I left them closed for now. It was very odd. Quite eerie even. I was sure I had got myself into some fast currents again. I tried to move one of my many arms to try to move my body around.

hmm…?

No resistance? Surely there is no ocean in the world that has water with this much low density. I must have been shaken up after that sudden experience. I tried to move my arms to swim away but it didn't seem like I was going anywhere. I tried again. Failed again. I began to get increasingly concerned.

I decided to open my eyes.

As unusual as it was, it proved to be quite the difficult task. Not because some thing was keeping it shut. Rather, it was because every cell in my brain was instinctively against this idea. But despite the warning I received from my own body I opened them.

Krreeeeeee

I could do nothing but scream the moment blinding light entered my eyes. That moment it finally hit me. No. I already knew. At the very least I already had an idea where I was. But it was to scary of a thought to accept. After all it was the thought that meant id die sooner than later.

So I averted my thoughts from the truth and tried to think it was all OK and that I was only imagining things. So I kept giving excuses like I was shaken up or I had gotten into currents. But I know that was not the truth. The moment I received visual evidence it was confirmed.

I was on land. One way or another, I ended up getting on land.

I began to panic. I moved my arms around rapidly just hoping for a chance that id be close to the ocean. That I'd go back in the water if I continued my frenzied motion. My attempts were fruitless. Futile. Hopeless. And not only that, but it also brought another disaster. I was running out of oxygen.

I tried breathing In air, silently hoping it'd succeed. It seemed like luck wasn't on my side. It was just wishful thinking on my part - for my gills built only to extract oxygen from water to be able to extract oxygen from air as well. "So this is how I die huh?" I thought.

Moving my body would only mean more energy is used and more oxygen is needed. The only way to live even a second longer was to stay perfectly still. Oh woe is me! I lived a peaceful life residing by the rules of the ecosystem only to die for reasons I cannot begin to fathom.

Tip tap tip tap tip

I heard a sound that slowly but surely kept getting louder. Closer. My vision was already blurred so there was no way of identifying what was coming my way. I didn't care. After all, I didn't have that long to live. Nothing more could surprise me either. I didn't even have the energy to feel surprised anymore.

The figure came to a stop and said some words that I couldn't make any sense of. My body slowly grew pale. My vision faded to black. My hearing was completely lost but the last words I heard lingered in my mind before my heart came to a halt. They were:

"lmao /tp @e[type=minecraft:squid] @p command actually worked. Haha"
